Application

The assembled unit requires a Socket and Ball combination. Sockets will not connect to Sockets and Balls will not connect to Balls.

Socket side parts include the common centre nut.

The Knuckle Union is used to connect and disconnect pipework or valves quickly and easily from pumps and existing installations. This component has the added benefit of a 9 degree ‘Knuckle’ movement, which provides greater flexibility at installation and removes the necessity of the pipework having to line up exactly with your pump.

Installation

• Please look at the Poly Fittings pages for connection of the Poly Easy Fit pipe fittings side of the fittings.
• Ensure that all pipework is adequately supported.

• 1. Line up the two ends of the Quick Connect Knuckle Union
• 2. Join the two parts together by winding the common centre nut on to the matching male thread.

• 3. Ensure that the common centre nut is firmly tightened. DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN.
• 4. The finished connection - the Poly Pipe is connected with the Quick Connect Knuckle Union.
